Pros

Prior to becoming a large company in 2023, it seemed like this organization cared for its employees. Had decent benefits (not salary). Allowed Remote work.

Cons

1. Odd when a majority POC/female employees are let go.... 2. Not good pay compared to other consulting companies 3. Rarely bonuses 4. Some management is retaliatory and prejudice to minorities and females 5. No real career growth long term 6. No real specific feedback in year end reviews, even if you ask 7. You can do all your work and be liked by the client, but that doesn't matter if your manager doesn't like you

Pros

The people are good to work with, very diverse and helpful. The pay is excellent as well as the benefits

Cons

As a prelude to my review, Tria Federal contracts to a business that implements many polices (described below) that i will discuss that they simply can't change and must enforce due to the contract with the entity they work for, This review is intended to be informative more than speaking to Tria itself as a company as they can't change anything about my upcoming complaints and must simply deal with what they are told to do by the entity they contract to. Work life balance is very poor, You are asked/expected to work overtime (nights/weekends) constantly. You are not paid for overtime and expected to offset your overtime hours and work with staff and team to take these times off with in a two week time period or you just lose the time you worked. As other team members tend to constantly work overtime each pay period is a constant struggling to ensure you get your overtime and not leave your team understaffed heavily because other members need to take overtime also. Highly stressful work environment, every issue no matter how small is considered on fire or critical and even the smallest of issues that can be solved via email will be made into a Teams call with 30+ individuals talking over each other with what they believe a problem may be which is standard almost everyday. There is typically not enough time to work an issue as you are constantly having to respond to questions about why the issue is not resolved yet rather than being given the time to resolve it. Due to downsizing many teams are being cut in half currently with no replacements causing some teams workloads to almost double. All of these issues are consider "non-problems" by the entity Tria Federal responds to and they have made it clear they have no intention to change or make this process better. Unless you are use to a highly stressful environment that expects yo to work 60+ hours a week this will not be where you want to go.
