Pros

Good place to Start a career in environmental field. Lots of experience. Had made a lot of good genuine friendships and connections that have lasted beyond TEI (Triumvirate Environmental Inc.).

Cons

The pay is not commensurate to the amount and type of work being done. Life work balance is non existent. Being around and handling hazardous waste all the time is not fun. TEI is always trying to do more with less. Company does not pay bills on time leading to headaches for employees who have to deal with that nonsense. Toward the end of my career there noticed that issues that were identified were never adequately addressed and usually resulted in a few people scrambling to try and maintain compliance and stuck in less than desirable working conditions.

Pros

Fellow employees are great. The company provides you with people in a similar age range and everyone is going through the same struggles

Cons

No work life balance at all Long hours Low Pay Company preys on Recent college grads Did i mention low pay? Youll have to work 60+ hour weeks to take home $55k, You work until the job is done Company discourages lunch breaks in order to finish the job for the day, 90% of the time you have to eat in the truck or not at all. You have to get a CDL to drive trucks in the city Little to no growth opportunities. Turnover rate of employees is astronomical due to the physical demands of this job and low salaries. SERIOUSLY DO NOT WORK AT THIS COMPANY. HEED MY WARNING. PEOPLE LITERALLY RUN OUT OF THE DOOR WHEN THEY GET ANOTHER JOB OFFER. READ THE REST OF THESE REVIEWS. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID

Pros

You can make some money here with the overtime pay. Good people (co-workers) to work with.

Cons

Unfortunately, while you are able to make good money, you have to, and are expected to work 60+ hours a week in order to do so. The management preys on recent college graduates who have no other option. You will be out at various sites where you categorize hazardous materials based on hazard classes. It gets repetitive and if you find yourself "going with the flow", you could get yourself hurt. Be it from a chemical exposure, to being crushed by a 55 gallon drum. Huge turn-over rate, as many people either get fired, or they leave the company once they realize they can do better.
