Pros

Snacks to eat on campus - they monitor if you take a chip or drink home Free fitbit Fitness stipend Lunch on Wednesdays

Cons

Shift hours may not be preferable Mislead about bonus incentives so company did not have to pay out 5 min er day bathroom limit - management will literally highlight dates and times you went over. Forbid you have an upset stomach . Training could be stronger “Promotion” but then excluded from bonuses

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We always appreciate hearing from current and former employees. That said, we’re having a hard time matching the details in your review to TrueCar. We've been a fully remote company since 2020, and many of the workplace specifics mentioned don't reflect our current employee experience. We wish you all the best in your career journey!

Worst place I've ever worked.

Pros

Check the stock price, this companies going no where fast. Leadership is absolutely obismal Culture is horrible because no body cares Companies in such bad shape the originally CEO is back involved because the current leadership is a joke. There is a massive problem here, but people are so fake they won't admit what they are seeing. Do not bring up problems, you won't get answers and ur forced to deal with them. Less then 20% of the company hits it's sales goals on a regular basis. The continue to lie as if the associates can't see the Titanic sinking. What I find the most funny, is the CEO runs behind each negative post and tries to flip the scenario like TrueCar wasn't and isn't the problem, while the stock price tanks. Do not work here, you will regret it. I am in contact with multiple people who work at TrueCar actively looking for another job

Cons

You will need the good benefits for the therapy you will need after you realize leadership and the people care absolutely nothing about you.

We appreciate you sharing your perspective. We're sorry to hear that your experience at TrueCar didn’t meet your expectations. Our goal is to ensure every member of the TrueCar Crew feels heard and supported, so feedback like this, whether from current or former employees, helps us understand where perception may not fully align with our intentions. That said, we stand by our culture and the work we’re doing to evolve, drive high performance, and build a company where people can do their best work. Change takes time, and while we don’t pretend to have it all figured out, we’re focused on progress, not spin, and on building a strong, accountable organization. Chaotic but Good Benefits

Pros

The main pros are related to benefits - health insurance covered 100%, unlimited time off policy, fully remote. The people (outside of management) were always awesome and great colleagues to work with

Cons

This company is all over the place. Their vision has changed a hundred times, the new CEO used to be a CFO and it shows. He operates the business like a CFO would. He shows little compassion and is condescending. The whole C-suite are just his former friends that he hired from his previous company. They don't care about the people even though they say they do. And I always got the feeling that I couldn't trust any of them. Made me miss the previous CEO, he was a great and kind leader

Thanks for your feedback. We certainly value our employee experience and always look to ensure we have great programs in place including our benefits, remote work policy and many others. We're working hard towards our company vision with one, three and five year goals which have remained unchanged this year. Employees who feel uncertain of their goals or the company direction are always encouraged to reach out to their manager or functional leader and we'll work to provide clarity!
