Hard work pays

Pros

There are many opportunities to grow at the firm. Several current attorneys were promoted to partners after only a few years. If you put in the time and effort, it is acknowledged and those attorneys are accelerated. If you do the bare minimum, then expect the same. The firm pays well, strong benefits, and consists of talented attorneys and exceptionally hard working staff. Flexibility with remote work and leave. Lots of guidance and mentorship plus in house training and CLEs. Bonuses and other incentives provided. Don’t expect anything to be handed to you if you’re not working hard to better yourself and the firm.

Cons

The negative reviews here are primarily from individuals who simply did not put in the effort. This is not the type of place where you sit around doing nothing nor is it the place to do the bare minimal effort. The volume of work is high and constant, but that’s simply not for everyone.

Grateful for a Strong Beginning

Pros

Without a doubt this firm will give you the boost that you need as a new attorney. The knowledge and experience that I gained from my time at the firm is incomparable to what I would have gotten at another firm. I learned multiple facets of the legal field, including marketing, billing, client management, personal life balancing, and more. My legal writing was not terrible when I first began but when I left, I was able to compare my current work to my beginning work and the improvement was astounding. I know that I owe that improvement to the talented attorneys at this firm.

Cons

The time off is not front loaded and is only two weeks. Given how stressful the job is and how much is expected of the attorneys, there should be more PTO. And the billable requirement and qualification of billable hours is burdensome to the attorneys. Moreover, the salary does not reflect the billable hour requirement.

You will learn a lot and get a lot of experience.

Cons

The billable hour requirement is stressful and is not fair, relative to the salary.
