Pros
Decent benefits. Many of the DC-based attorneys were competent and represented their clients well, even despite the restraints on ability to practice correctly imposed by upper-level management.
Cons
Management's business practices are the oddest I have ever seen; they believe in devaluing their top performers in order to avoid having to pay them market-level salaries and bonus. In turn, these top performers, naturally, seek out other employment. As a result, the firm's DC office has experienced an unheard of 90% turnover rate in the past 24 months. Clients are unhappy, remaining attorney talent is at all all time low and Tully Rinckey has managed to single-handedly create a market full of competition by alienating the most experienced lawyers in the federal employment practice field. FYI- In case you can't tell, 99% of the glowing reviews here that sound too good to be true are just that; they were written by the firm's marketing team who specializes in the task of reputation management. These reviews were written to bury the real reviews, written by actual, former TR employees. Keep reading, you will find them.
