Pros

Luckily there is still a hybrid work schedule that allows for 3 days a week to be worked from home.

Cons

The return to office policy put in place last year makes absolutely 0 sense. Employees who were fully remote for 3+ years were required to return to the office after being told they could "work from anywhere". They put an arbitrary 40 mile radius in place to determine which employees were forced to come in, making some commute 45 minutes to an hour, with no ability to dispute the policy. Going in to an office where 5/8 of your coworkers are still remote feels silly, disrespectful, and like a waste of time. Removing an important benefit from employees without any additional compensation felt condescending and impersonal. It made me feel like the company does not care about its employees.

Pros

Tyler Tech is largely comprised of small companies built and staffed by great people, then bought by Tyler Tech. Those great people are still there, loyal to their teams, products, and clients. Great internships!

Cons

Dated technologies, and little interest in iterating on products - they prefer to go buy something new to suck dry. Poor compensation. No stock options for individual contributors. Vast differences in pay within a role, often along gender lines. Increased offshore engineering resulting in significant quality issues. Seems like a place to stay long-term if you can ignore the noise and focus on the positives, but you might show up one day and be suddenly unemployed with zero notice or prior expression of concerns.

Pros

Remote work, Mon-Fri and good benefits

Cons

Working past 5 everyday. They hire and fire a lot of people. Every call is hard. Had to reach out in chat a lot on top of documenting calls so your finger were killing u from typing soo much. Management is overwhelmed or some aren’t do anything all day. If your single it’s a good job cause they careless u have kids. I had a kid and they knew and still fired me. A lot of bs from other departments who are overwhelmed. Plan on being a call center to your house it’s call after call before you know it you’ve taken 10 calls some are short but most are long. You will get overwhelmed a lot
