Pros

Benefits $5 dollar prescriptions, co workers, travel

Cons

Training protocol is new, so employees that have been here for a long time have not experienced the new hire training. Some do not even know how to do their jobs. Tyler induced stressed that is uncalled for causing people to have nose bleeds and throw up at presentations, no work life balance, teach yourself, fire you after 3 presentation with no actual ability to show you how they calculate your score. No minorities in upper management. Low pay for what you have to put with. No one takes responsibility for the decision of your fate at Tyler, such as who was the grader, who had the power to decide if you did well or did not do well on something.

Pros

-Good benefits, including 401k and discounted stock options. -Benefits start from Day 1 (no contract to hire period). -You get to keep your frequent travelers points and can use them for free flights, hotel stays, rentals, etc. -Freedom from micro-management because you never see your boss since it is a travel based position. -Annual bonuses. -3 weeks PTO, 1 week Sick Pay to start. -PTO is pro-rated based on hired date, follows calendar year. -Very supportive co-workers who are eager and willing to help you succeed.

Cons

-You never see your coworkers since you always work directly with your clients onsite. -No work/life balance. -Not a good job if you are not a self-starter, this job requires a lot of self study. They tell you that the travel is 75-90%..... You are looking at almost 100% travel. -Aggressive sales model means that there are more clients than staff, which means more work for staff.

Pros

New World Systems was absorbed by Tyler Technologies (Troy, MI). Most of the people are great, have wonderful backgrounds, and committed to being the best.

Cons

Tyler Technologies places an importance on the almighty dollar first, before they place any importance on a committed and devoted employee.
