Pros

*Not difficult work *Coworkers are great *Generally job security

Cons

*Pays less than other banks for same positions (Best advice is not to be loyal- jump back and forth between banks to maximize your income potential) *Vast disconnect between upper management and the workers, with middle management stuck in a hard place because they recognize how unrealistic the C-suite is being, but can't rock the boat or they fear for their jobs *Worker morale is at the bottom of a full Oktoberfest porta-potty. Upper Management's response to the Talk to Us surveys that show across the board unhappiness? Basically, "if you aren't happy you don't have to work here"

The stupidest place I've ever worked

Pros

4 weeks vacation to start, can buy a 5th week. Bank holidays

Cons

-Senior leadership is disorganized, communicates poorly. -CEO is unkind, mean to employees. -The bank's internal employee survey, Talk to Us, tells leadership that employees are very unhappy, but leadership doesn't care. Bank scores are low for the industry, low across companies of the same size, and at record lows for the company. CEO says everything is great. -The internal bureaucracy is so painful that it almost seems intentional. -In my area of the bank, I see them make the same mistakes over and over again. Nobody cares; employees are just incompetently marking time. -Management is cutting costs because they are worried about being taken over. But really, that would be for the best.

Pros

Paid holidays, Vacation time, 401k

Cons

This is the most stressful job i have ever had. With new structuring of management this company has become miserable to work for. Little to no work life balance, They want you there earlier every morning and stay open even later. You aren't hired as a floating banker but you will be forced to drive to other offices to fill in all the time. Staffing is a nightmare. Morale in the office so the lowest i've ever seen it. You can feel the burnout from everyone. The micromanagement from upper management is extreme. This company used to not be bad to work for, I wish that was still the case.
