Pros

My immediate team is full of friendly, hard working people.

Cons

New CEO (Gunjan Kedia) is tone deaf and apathetic of her employees. First all employee town hall of her leadership and she laughs at those facing financial insecurity and calls questions about compensation selfish, calls questions asked by remote/hybrid workers wanting clarification on the (unclear) return to office policy nonsense, when asked about low employee morale says “no, it’s actually high, maybe you just need to go make some friends”. Company also is immediately folding under pressure and departments are being asked to suspend their DE&I programs. This was once a lovely place to work, now it is just a paycheck.

Pros

When U.S. Bank isn't planning to lay you off, it's a tolerable company for which to work, although some of the C-Level executives seem to be "sickly sweet" with their attitudes about moving the company forward. Always prepare yourself for a round of indiscriminate personnel cuts! Get ready!

Cons

According to the executives, everything is going well with the company, then all of the sudden, it isn't! Prepare yourself for unemployment if you're in a back office support position! Get ready, the creepy weird geeky dude may come for you too!

Pros

- The company is doing well financially and is stable. - The company does employ good people who do want to make a difference.

Cons

- The company doesn't pay for top talent so I had to take on a secondary retail job to pay for my general bills so now I'm working 60 hour weeks between both jobs just to make ends meet. - The company forced all their employees to go back into the office on a hybrid schedule otherwise they could leave the company which is very narcisstic and it makes it burdensome for people financially to drive back into the office since they're requiring employees to drive close to an hour one way back to the office. - Management doesn't support anyone in their career goals and expects more and more of them everyday for the same amount of pay. - The pay and benefits is not competitive with the market. - Management treats people horribly and they like to micromanage.
