UCDMC has a broad array of caring faculty, physicians and educators. Management pays attention to patient care. Long-term benefits lean toward “generous” for a state institution.

Cons

As with many established, large organizations, management changes slowly, very slowly. Often change is viewed as something to be avoided because it could end upward mobility. CYA is much more important than doing something creative, innovative, and/or beneficial to the company. The organization is not agile or in any way able to react to real world experiences. If you’re an out of the box thinker, this is not the place to work.
