      Pros

      Good overall salary for the work performed.

      Cons

      Low morale. Voted by federal employees to be the worst federal employer two years in a row. No promotion ladder. None of this matters because there is a hiring freeze for the foreseeable future.

      Interesting, challenging work Diversity of work Rewards/incentives for good job performance Good benefits, but no short or long term disability offered (which is the biggest loophole in the federal benefits system!) Given a government vehicle for use

      Morale is low Management treats employees like they are dispensable; they don't care about the welfare of their employees, personally or professionally, and instead of supporting people, they just do whatever pleases themselves- no matter how hard the employee works! Nepotism abounds, as does the good ol' boy nework
