Pros

Most of the people who work at USA Mortgage are good folks. Unfortunately this is severely overshadowed by the lack of pay and local leadership.

Cons

The pay structure is abysmal. Management will encourage new employee's to max out credit cards or utilize retirement savings to stay afloat while they "grow their business" while simultaneously backing their big producers that constantly undermine realtor relationships that new employees are trying to create in order to grow their own pipeline. Your entire salary is recoverable.

Flexibility, little to no micromanaging, treated like royalty IF you are in sales/Loan Officer

Cons

Poor business model, lack of structure, lack of support from top offices down, lack of training or investment in individual employees, bad managerial style, lack of investment in good business practices or new ideas, Loan Officers run the show, entirely about inter-office popularity and not merit. CONSTANT layoffs due to structure and lack of foresight.
