Pros

Good salary for cost of living in San Antonio, awesome health, childcare available right across the street, nice facilities, decent food and many choices and Starbucks right by my office!

Cons

Micro managers, if you're former military you walk on water- even if you're incompetent, lots of inter office politics and favorites- also they prefer folks that are raised up in their environment. It could be a struggle for you if you come from a flexible organization externally.

Pros

very clean, and the members are usually respectful. the building is a secure and well lit working environment. Yearly bonus as well as health benefits.

Cons

Old Technology hardware and software, software that breaks constantly making general tasks take lengthy amounts of time. floor management passes the blame to any target. Loads of Office politics and squabbles that make working here entirely un-worth putting up with the constant assault on your mental state.

Pros

Always have the opportunity to be challenged and grow. Never get bored with work. Opportunity to promote and move if you actively participate in your job and in the company. Good health benefits. Lots of great management, of course not all managers are created equal though.

Cons

Paid time off has always been a sore point. Not that you don't get enough, but using it. Everyone bids by seniority and if you get into higher positions and you don't have ten plus years you may never get a holiday week off if prepared. You bid a year in advance for next years time off, so you need to know schedules and such. Otherwise awesome! Inbound call center, heavy for some parts of claims.
