Pros

- great benefits - Supportive management most of the time - great events to bring your family to if you aren't working

Cons

- not flexible to those with families if you are on the phones - can make you paranoid of how well you are actually doing because of all the reviews and comparisons on progress - you are handcuffed to your desk.

Pros

Nice, clean town. Cheap, decent housing/apartments. USAA campus is very nice. Great on-site facilities (gym, jogging trails, massage therapy centers, credit union, cafeteria, Starbucks, etc...). Overall, pretty darn good benefits. Also, emphatically, they have an astounding culture. They really do care about their customers, and this is drilled into everyone on every level. There were thousands of us in that building, and pretty much all of us bent over backwards to help the members. I'm not sure how a corporation that size pulls it off, but we all saw those members as family. Really, great culture.

Cons

Decent money considering the cost of living in the area, but you can definitely make more cash at other places. However, you will probably be worked like a dog in those places. Nothing is free.

Pros

MSRs are truly amazing. They make that company. Pay and benefits are good. Bonus is spectacular. Starbucks in the building and good products that the company sells. Best part is serving the member and giving back to them. Work life balance is good as long as you are not in management or architecture.

Cons

It's a culture of shut up and put up until you retire. EMG doesn't want to hear the truth (few do) and you get blasted if you actually speak your mind. I've never worked at a more demeaning job than I have worked here.
