Excellent training and support

Pros

I was blown away by how comprehensive the company’s training was. They clearly understand what a new employee needs to know to get acquainted with their responsibilities and the culture. Even after training, I’ve had more support than I could ever need and overall it’s been one of the easiest transitions in my career.

Cons

I love how much support management gives everyone in the office, but sometimes it crosses the line into micromanagement territory. Not a bad thing if that’s your work style, but for more autonomous employees it’s a drag.

Pros

There’s almost too many pros to list…. The people are fantastic. Everyone from my coworkers to the highest level execs are phenomenal, intelligent, talented people. The pay is great and hard work is rewarded. Company events are always fun. We’re like one big family here.

Cons

Change does take a while to happen here. There’s some upsides to that, but for those who are impatient like me, it can feel like nothing is ever happening.

Pros

A company that requires that you work hard to advance upward. There are no handouts at USAN. We’re a meritocracy – EVERYTHING is based on performance. Good work ethic will carry you far. It can get a little competitive at times, but that’s just the nature of the game.

Cons

Communication from upper management needs to be better.
