Pros

I have been working for USDM Life Sciences for approximately 3 years. When I first came on board, I had a very limited role. With some initiative and hard work, I have grown in responsibility and expanded my skill set exponentially. I have been afforded several opportunities throughout my tenure and I eventually ended up right where I wanted to be. Pros - Ideas are well received and taken into consideration. - Initiative is well rewarded. - Personal growth and development are supported and encouraged. - Management is accessible and has reasonable expectations. - Co-workers are great. - Lots of collaboration. - Fast paced and challenging. - Autonomy to grow a department and develop a team.

Cons

I wish I worked here sooner.

Pros

USDM is a high-energy, fast-paced company that focuses on getting things done efficiently and powerfully. Creating, collaborating, and thinking outside the box are the norm. Everyone can contribute, be engaged and lead. If you are driven and get excited about growth and change, this is the place to be. There are roof-top parties overlooking Santa Barbara where we get together to connect and just have fun.

Cons

If you want just a “job” and be left alone, this isn’t the place to be. Because USDM is global, you don’t always get a chance to meet everyone. Adjusting to building a working relationship can be challenging if you are not used to working with coworkers who work remotely.

We are pleased to see that you recognize the creativity, collaboration and drive that has carved out who USDM has become. I do agree that it can be challenging to form relationships being a global virtual company, however, we have made advantageous steps in the last year to help strengthen community and communication. We have implemented our own USDM interface – USDM connect, where our team members can learn about USDM, their people and converse. We also have been organizing more onsite USDM gatherings to ensure our USDM work colleagues at our client sites are connected. It is a challenge that we acknowledge and are striving to improve.

Pros

USDM is a fast-paced company that is rapidly growing. The Management and SMEs are very inspiring and motivating. The Management is collaborative, supportive and focused on making you successful in your career. The Management made me feel right at home from the first day. Our company has a strong sense of community and it has always been a joy coming to work each day. There is always an enormous opportunity for growth. I have experience working on diverse projects as a Business Analyst, Validation Analyst, Technical Lead, Project Manager etc. I absolutely love working at USDM and would highly recommend definitely for people who wants to be bright and visible at their positions.
