Pros

Other sales reps at the company were great. Commission wasn't bad, territory was large so there was a lot of opportunity at first.

Cons

Starting salary is very low. Very micromanaged, sales manager wants to know what you're doing every second of the day and if you don't have enough activities in your CRM you get in trouble. Health insurance isn't great and is expensive. I don't know if it was the location or corporate but they decided to restrict what you could sell (restaurants are no longer allowed at the location) limiting your earning potential.

Thank you for your feedback. It always disappoints us when one of our Team Partners feels their experience was a less than positive one. We hope you’ve found a better fit for yourself.

Pros

They will take a chance on you with no sales experience

Cons

-Terrible benefits ( extremely expensive health insurance, no vacation days for a year, only 5 company holidays per year) -horrible management : seems like they will promote anyone -no follow through from all levels of the business (route drivers didn't follow through, stockroom didn't take responsibility)

Thank you for your feedback. It is true that we are open to hiring and training both the experienced and inexperienced. We actually have a new vacation policy that took effect this year that we are pretty excited about. It does, however, sadden us when any of our Team Partners feel their experience was less than positive. We hope you’ve found a much better fit for yourself – one that meets each and every one of your expectations.

Pros

Awesome sales training & managing your own territory is stressful but you learn a lot about time management

Cons

Micromanaged the entire time. If you are not entering data properly within an understandable time a manager will call you or email you questioning why. They say it is a "family" run business however the CEO & Executive board as seen as a big brother. Always used as a threat to do better. When reps struggle instead of looking for solutions they pile more nonsense on top and yoh start to sink. There is 0 product training so you look like a dummy 1/2 the time. Service department is horrible- so even if you do make a sale, they can't even follow up properly to ensure your customers you sold are satisfied. No one takes responsibility. Work here if you need the training but have the back up plan because this Corporation doesn't understand part of sales is database management.

Thank you for your feedback. We strongly believe in helping our Team Partners to grow and it always saddens us whenever any UniFirst Team Partners feels that their experience in our organization is a negative one. Moving forward, we hope you’ve found a much better fit for yourself – one that meets each and every one of your expectations.
