Pros

Could be a good job for a first time sales rep. Get your training and experience, then get out.

Cons

Everything. Unifirst cares nothing about their employees, and it is apparent in everything they do. They make money on stealing from their employees, rather than building long term relationships that are mutually beneficial.

Pros

Autonomy was good at first Product was great Great tenure of drivers, customers loved them, it's the main reason customers stayed.

Cons

Price was just not that competitive. Cintas exists, they have such a dominate market share that they can afford to undercut on price every time

Thank you for your feedback. We understand it can seem daunting Selling in a market that is Cintas heavy, which is exactly why we teach the processes that we do. We focus on a business’s Total Cost of Ownership or annual spend, which usually ends up being MORE affordable with UniFirst due to all of the excessive ancillary charges that occur with many of our competitors. We train our employees to be transparent about these ancillary charges or miscellaneous charges to further set ourselves apart (remember to help not Sell)!

Pros

1. Gym in the building that is paid for by the company. 2. Pay is reasonable 3. Interview process moves quickly

Cons

1. They have adopted agile processes for their Indy development teams only. 2. Very command and control from the top leadership down. 3. Scrum Teams do not have dedicated product owners. Proxy product owner is used that are often unprepared. 4. Management is not transparent or collaborative. 5. Culture is not health - I would not recommend for minorities. LGBT and women. 6. No clear direction or plan to become #1 or #2. 7. Very flat organization.
