Pros

Outside sales allows you freedom to make your own schedule to a certain degree. Some management does care about really helping employees and the base salary is decent.

Cons

Commissions and getting new accounts to install and get paid is a long and difficult process. Much more so than getting a sale. Management doesn't really help streamline this. Commission ratios also are quite low for how much revenue you bring with new sales.

Pros

Worked for the company for 3+ years with no problems at all. Wonderful company and location to work for. Not only do they put their customers first but also their employees. Great work environment, amazing benefits, and always looking for internal promotions.

Cons

No cons with this company or location.

Pros

If you can stomach it for a year job offers will start pouring in from other companies.

Cons

They force you to write a positive review while you are employed there, which is the only reason this place has 3.9 stars. While I personally liked a lot of the people I worked with, even my managers, the stress from the top down causes a toxic work environment. Corporate micro manages their VPS and regional directors who then micromanage their location managers who then in turn micromanage their sales and service managers who then in turn micromanage their reps. They tell you things that they don't follow through with. They also tell you they are different from the other big companies, cintas, aramark, etc... They are not! They are probably worse. Go with your small local company or Cintas.

It’s always disappointing to hear when a Team Partner feels their UniFirst experience was a negative one. We do encourage Team Partners to share their experience at UniFirst on Glassdoor, but it’s completely voluntary. This is one of the big ways we are able to listen to our employee’s feedback both good and bad, which is why we are glad you’ve shared with us. We hope you’ve found a better fit, moving forward.
