layoffs and too tied to investors

No career growth if not located in the US, especially San Francisco Toxic Managers, lots of burn out and layoffs

Started off so incredibly well but 6 months in, we were hit with the first (of four) round of layoffs in a 12 month period and there was a restructuring of the sales org. They brought in a high performing AE from the US to become a manager and it was a clear example of a great salesperson not equating to a great leader and one who lacked emotional intelligence. They also brought over an SDR with zero management experience to manage the SDRs and that was an absolute ride for that team! Gaslighting, manipulation, toxic environment - you name it, they brought it. Highly mis-managed company on all levels. They also stripped away many of the employee benefits and they're unfortunately a company that is sunsetting. Please be careful about joining them as the salary may seem attractive but is the trauma you leave with worth it?

No job security, constant layoffs, poor management at VP level and higher

1. Lack of direction for a very very long time. Strategic mistakes are frequently made and eventually results in quarterly layoffs and re-orgs. Changes do not settle in and the next RIF comes. 2. Reducing sites rapidly. 3. Really bad communication top to bottom. Very bad HR and people management. 4. Awkward benefits compared to similar companies

A culture of politics over accountability. Decisions often depend on internal alliances rather than performance, fairness, or facts. HR appears focused on protecting senior leadership rather than supporting employees raising valid concerns. Reporting issues can lead to subtle retaliation and social isolation. Psychological safety is inconsistent across teams. Speaking up or asking for support can quickly be reframed as being difficult or unstable. Frequent reorganizations, unclear ownership, and shifting expectations create instability and burnout. A culture of politics over accountability.
