The people that work there are mostly very hard working, caring, and ethical people. There is a fundamental trust that you can depend on your coworkers to be there when you need help.

Cons

I have never worked for a hospital that so obviously put profit before patients in my life. It’s absolutely disgusting. Employees are leaving in droves due to poor management, inequality, and dangerous work conditions.

Cons of my Department: horrible upper management & high turnover; older employees refuse to knowledge share/cross-train; not a lot of room for growth; low morale Cons of UHS as a whole: outdated company culture- no dress down days, little to no flexibility in schedule, no remote positions
