      Pros

      Steady paycheck. Health benefits are good.

      Cons

      At its core, UHS is a mom and pop shop. Do some research before accepting a job. If you're an abuser (or just high in narcissism), don't mind seeing others abused, or have a high tolerance for abuse yourself, you can make a career there.

      There are some great people to work with. UHS is known for multiple acute facilities and behavioral health. 'On the job' training provides a robust opportunity to learn and acquire experience.

      Cons

      Management turnover and poor communication between inner-departments. Standards and expectations do not apply to all employees. Room for advancement in the hierarchy is dependent on social over work ethic.
