Pros

Can't think of any besides the few times we have opportunities to help the patients

Cons

Extremely low pay. Techs are treated like they do not matter. Most of us have undergraduate degrees yet they still treat us like imbeciles. Dangerous work environment. High patient to staff ratios. Management only cares when corporate or state is here. Favoritism is rampant regardless of how hard you work. They work the good workers to death and discard them like yesterday's trash if they dare complain. Management cares only about the bottom line. Very unethical ways to make patients have increased stays and "run their insurance out" Truly horrific morally and ethically

Pros

The Culinary team does a great job meeting nutritional needs. The food is wonderful. Dr. Hegazy is a very caring Psychiatrist. A couple good nurses left...the rest were fired or resigned.

Cons

Not prepared to take on the responsibility of properly caring for recovering addicts. Facility still under construction. Policies and procedures not properly in place. High turn over rate due to poor management. No security in place. Disconnect between Mission and vision statement and how the facility is actually ran. Several patient complaints about seeking recovery and actually going backwards in their treatment.

Pros

The health insurance is really good, which should be expected since this is a corporation of hospitals. The pay was decent for the area and my profession.

Cons

This organization has a gross lack of regard for their patients and employees. The only thing this company is concerned with is making money for their stockholders. The employees who work here are very unprofessional and management is shockingly disrespectful to their employees. The good employees leave here as quickly as they can. This company fosters a work environment that is hostile and abusive towards employees. They work their employees to the bone. If you get vacation, you can't actually take it when you want, because they want you to take off when their census is low so their numbers will look good. The turnover is really high. They require you to give a 30 day notice if you leave, because they have such a hard time keeping employees. Complaints are ignored and people who speak up when there is wrong doing are fired.
