Pros

I was lucky to have an ambitious boss who had big ideas and taught me a lot about digital and marketing.

Cons

There was a lot of office gossip and you had to CYA (something I never experienced before). Cubicle farm with some very loud people made it hard to concentrate. Not adequate meeting rooms. Jobs were very rigid. I couldn't upload an image even though I knew how because that's the web designer's job. Difficult personalities. Men still had to wear ties when I started working there!! We had a kitchen so small that only one person could fit in at a time and a line formed every day.

Pros

The only pro I can think of is that I no longer work there.

Cons

The women are horrible to each other! Very catty and extremely unprofessional. If you even have any decent looks to you, you will be targeted for whispers and write ups because your sleeves were 1/8" shorter than what's accepted, your heels are too loud, your dress is too short, etc....The staff were way worse than the patients.

Pros

Fellow staff members were great

Cons

Patient to staff ratios are way too high. If a person is 65 or older they automatically go to the Geri floor. Most patients have dementia and are very confused. But let's say you lose your spouse and become suicidal. Yep. You are now on the dementia floor because you are 65. No therapy. You are warehoused until your insurance is up. It's a horrible place. Don't go there if you actually want to help people. You hurt them. They discriminate a lot. They refuse to hire Polnesians saying they can't pass the test as care specialists. Blacks / hispanics will be hired but only for the night shifts. Men are given more pay. Honestly I thought this kind of stuff did not happen anymore, it died away in my grandfather's era. Boy oh boy was I ever wrong. When you are in the middle of it you think " They wouldn't REALLY be doing that, it's so illegal and they have to be smarter then that. They'd get caught!"
