Pros

Overall, I have genuinely enjoyed my time here and have been lucky to work with some incredibly talented and supportive people. I would say that teamwork is one of the things that stands out most. People are always willing to jump in, share knowledge, and help each other out when needed. It never feels like everyone is just looking out for themselves. Another thing I really appreciate is how inclusive the environment is. People from all kinds of backgrounds, cultures, and experiences are welcomed and respected. There is a genuine effort to make people feel included, and I think that shows in the way teams work together and communicate. I also value the amount of trust employees are given. There is very little micromanagement, which allows people to take ownership of their work and be accountable for results. You're treated like a professional and given the space to do your job, which makes a huge difference when it comes to both motivation and job satisfaction. The work itself is meaningful, and it's rewarding to see the impact the product has on customers. I've learned a lot during my time here, not just from the work but from the people around me.

Cons

Like any company, there are areas that could be improved. During periods of change, clearer communication and more visibility into long term priorities would help employees better understand where things are headed and how their work contributes to the bigger picture. Also, I personally believe that continued focus on career growth and development opportunities would definitely go a long way.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a thoughtful and detailed review — and for being part of the UserTesting team for so many years. That kind of loyalty and dedication genuinely means a lot to us. 🙏 It's heartwarming to read how much you value the teamwork, inclusivity, and trust that define our culture. You've captured something we care deeply about, creating an environment where people feel respected, empowered, and supported by the people around them. Knowing that this comes through in your day-to-day experience is exactly what we strive for. Your feedback on communication during periods of change is something we take seriously. We know that clarity and transparency around long-term priorities make a real difference in how connected and motivated people feel, and we're committed to doing better in that area. Your voice, and the voices of teammates like you, are exactly what help us identify where to focus. The point on career growth and development is equally important to us. We have a lot of incredible talent here — as you clearly know from working alongside so many great people — and making sure everyone has a visible path forward is something we want to keep investing in. We hear you, and this will remain a focus for us going forward. Thank you again for the kind words, the honest reflections, and the valuable suggestions. It's people like you who make UserTesting a great place to work, and we're grateful to have you with us. 💙

Pros

A strong sense of camaraderie and supportive teamwork is a major highlight. Many long-tenured employees express that the team environment is a key reason for their longevity at the company. The paid time off policy is generous, and management is generally supportive of employees who need to take time for personal or medical emergencies. The management team often serves as a buffer between staff and senior leadership, which is a testament to their dedication to their direct reports. There are opportunities for professional growth and learning within the organization.

Cons

Senior leadership has a tendency to prioritize immediate results, which has led to frequent organizational changes, including team re-alignments, changes to sales territories, and staff reductions. There is a lack of consistency in company-wide policies and strategic direction. The company's structure has changed several times in recent history. Compensation, particularly within the sales department, is not competitive with current market rates. Leadership diversity appears to be an area for improvement. While there are procedures for reporting unprofessional conduct, the follow-through and resolution from human resources seem to be inconsistent.
