Exciting company with growing design team and culture

Pros

- Everyone is super nice and open to helping each other out - The product has matured a lot in the last couple years and there are a ton of exciting stuff in development - Healthy work/life harmony - Product and Engineering is very remote friendly - Exiting product opportunities and a lot of autonomy in how each squad gets to shape the product

Cons

- New design team means new design culture. It takes a lot of patience and tenacity to try to make a cultural change throughout the company - Not every department understands what design means just yet, but that can be said for any company; even "design-driven" ones. - Middle management is a bit lackluster - There's a bit of volatility and shake-up in leadership in all departments

Hi! Yes, there's been more than a bit of shakeup lately :) and we really hope everyone will hang in with us while we get settled and get to know each other. We see this as a Marketing/Brand led company and hope to infuse this everywhere. I've been at design-led companies in the past and it is really exciting! Career growth is a hot button for me and I'm starting to review each area and set a plan for what is needed. Feel free to ping me with your thoughts and we can map this together.

Great place to grow and do great work

Pros

Great culture, ego free design team, you learn a lot while doing meaningful work. While the company is growing and maturing and this can be hard, I think the culture supports this kind of growth really well, in that it truly allows itself to make mistakes and learn.

Cons

Company is in a state of change

Pros

Good pay, really great product, global

Cons

high pressure, small sized company, highly emphasized people needing the ability to work autonomously with little or no guidance after training
