      lack of oversight from management means it's sort of a free for all

      Cons

      hiring unqualified contractors lack of accountability management mandated RTO full time after assuring us we could continue to WFH health insurance costs went up over 35% this year

      Great as a public company, miserable after going private

      Pros

      There used to be quite a few very smart people there. Free time off was nice, but very few people I worked with were able to use it nearly as much as they wanted.

      Cons

      Acute lack of leadership, nonexistent corporate communications and poor strategic execution describe Maxar as a private entity.

      No direction, no leadership

      Honestly I can’t think of a good reason to work here.

      Cons

      There is no leadership, no strategy, no direction. The company is a hollow shell with no vision. The new ownership is absolutely clueless. Their values are empty statements with no action to support any of the statements. Culture is toxic and getting worse. Run, don’t walk away.
