Terrible management, horrible client to staff ratio, place is run by a bunch of executives who sit behind a desk and know nothing about the residents. No job security, they get rid of people without even a thought.

My work station was not heated appropriately. It was March and I had to wear 3 layers to work. HR asked me to leave my last job without giving proper notice, and then pushed back my start date. There is a culture here of using Teams for meetings instead of doing them face-to-face, due to "privacy concerns." My boss spent my first two weeks preparing for a board meeting and gave me very little direction. We spent week 3 miscommunicating and, in week 4, she asked one of my coworkers to "show me the way out." I simply wasn't given a chance to shine here. The communication issues here give me grave, grave concern for how Verland communicates with client families, the community, and the state.
