The residents and the pay. Always advancement opportunities because whoever advances usually gets let go which opens another opportunity for someone else
Cons
Management, constant changes in management, no accountability causing a toxic work environment, no management in sight - just threats of suspensions and firings for not following rules that nobody is actually made to follow. A joke
“Took over” for Polk Center, told employees whatever sounded good to keep them as staff in order to get the individuals/states money (Polk staff OPENED Verland North, absolutely could not have been done without the Polk staff). Lied to staff and families about pretty much everything from day one. Got rid of most staff they hired and now ALL nurses once move from Polk Center takes place on March 31st (apparently the individuals are cured and nursing is no longer needed). Very worried for individuals that have chronic health issues. Heard management is untruthful amongst all Verland locations but I can’t say for sure; I do know huge turnover rate at all locations.
Cons
Not professional, not truthful, lies tend to be common.
