Pros

I learned a great deal from working at the company... including SQL, Medical Coding and Billing, Contracting and Sales -AND- some business sense regarding salary and how not to be treated by an employer.

Cons

Despite the explicitly implied directive from the owner that I was expected to work during my off hours and to constantly go above and beyond my job description I, personally, did not have too much of an issue with this due to my workaholic mentality... The biggest problem I had with this organization was that I was shorted on sales commission to the extent of approximately 60K.

We have no record of any individual that was shorted $60K in commissions. Commissions are paid to Sales Team members only. Commissions are paid only on sales that materialize not sold. In the EHR business, client sales take a long time to deliver but commissions are paid once payments are made by the client.

Some of the people that work their are good people

Cons

The CEO is a nutjob. He micromanages every aspect of the company. Pay is a joke. I left this company for another in the industry with the same job function in the same market for 4 times the pay. Commission is also a joke. I do not recommend this company at all.

We know of this employee, and the individual is guilty of fabrication. This individual left and attempted to take clients with him. This attempted coup d'etat was thwarted, and as a result, he failed in his next assignment in his 5 X paying job because he overpromised and failed to deliver again.
