Everyone really cares about the mission of the company. Lots of collaboration with smart, driven, caring colleagues. Good work life balance.

Cons

Lack of transparency at times from leadership. Also try to tackle too much all at once - more focus or prioritize toon would be helpful

Pros

Teams work cross-functionally on almost every project at Vida. This helps employees get to know and learn from others in the company. There is a new mentorship program that pairs employees and managers to support career development.

Cons

All the collaboration leads to a lot of meetings. It would be good to standardize on a 45-minute meeting to enable people to be punctual for back-to-back meetings and keep people focused on the agenda.

The biggest pro is that we're actually changing lives. People who use Vida get healthier and we're doing this at scale. As we succeed and grow, we're also changing the industry. Specifically, we're shifting the industry toward preventive care, co-treatment for the mind and the body, and virtual care (so you don't have to go to a physical location).

Cons

As with any company this size, there's constant change. For some that's a con, for others that's energizing.
