I have been working with VitalCore for approximately 8 months. They have been very attentive to helping me develop my career. I have worked with them in both Michigan and Mississippi. In both states, they have prioritized psychiatric care and encouraged me to continue to provide the highest standard of care. I have worked at many healthcare companies over my 15 years in healthcare. I have never felt so valued as an employee as I do at VitalCore. They have amazing executive leadership, and they take care of their employees. The patients we take care of get amazing care, and VitalCore enables us to do so.

Great benefits package, 9 holidays per year, PTO and Sick time that accrues per pay period, 401K with match, pet insurance, but most importantly a mission to improve the level of care within the correctional setting.

Cons

The correctional environment can be difficult at times but also very rewarding.
