Customer Solutions Tech Support Work from Home

Pros

Non, Vivint only caters to the people who work on campus giving them free meals a and drinks etc. Work from home you make a lousy $11.00 an hour. From Dec. `17 they promised up until Feb 2018 all tier 2 should get raises. Nothing ever happened about that.

Cons

Low Pay, although I was in tier 2 their phone lines kept breaking and sending people all over the LVR system. It was horrible I would get complaining customer after customer cursing me out about their crumby service that only works once in a while. The doorbell camera and outdoor cameras never stayed connected to anyone's network no matter what package they had from their ISP. This company should pack it up. Although I was supposedly hired for tech support I would get billing calls repeatedly and people complaining they hated the service.

Pros

The cafe and clinic were convenient

Cons

There is a massive problem with mid-level managers and higher-ups completely ignoring the complaints of sexism that were made by most women in the department during my employment there. Even when these issues were brought up to HR, there was no action taken beyond sending managers, directors, and VP’s to “sensitivity training.” Instead of sincerely acknowledging and dealing with the problem, the typical response from management was a form of victim blaming wherein female employees were instructed to “change their personalities” so they could learn to accept that the way they got treated was acceptable and normal. Meanwhile, the offenders would continue to say and do the same disrespectful things unchecked. Offhanded comments about how a woman’s place is in the home were a routine occurrence. Likewise with comments about why male managers would rather invest their time in developing the male team members since their female counterparts would “just get pregnant and go on maternity leave eventually.” Imagine how it feels for your manager, in your one-on-one meetings, to ask direct questions about when you plan on getting pregnant and if you planned on staying with the team after. To many male members of the team, I was treated as a ticking time bomb and referred to as a "quota."

Terrible!

Pros

Decent pay, if you want to give up nearly every waking hour of your life.

Cons

Blatantly lied and mislead about pay. Management SEVERELY underqualified and untrained. No respect for employees and absolutely no respect for their time. We were trained for a day and a half and sent into the field while our supervisor went on vacation. Numerous violations of labor laws, safety laws, and building codes. BEWARE!!
