Pros

I don’t have any Pros at this time I have only worked for Vizient for a month as part of a takeover of the company I used to work for. Nothing good has happened as a result of becoming a Vizient employee.

Cons

They buy up companies and layoff American workers and ship their jobs overseas. They like to call it sending it “off shore”. YOU are expendable at this company. Run away, don’t even apply here if you want a secure future this is not the place.

Great benefits and people. Nice office atmosphere. Family oriented organization and driven to support member healthcare organizations.

Cons

Too many meetings. Too much confusion with constant change over the past three years.

Pros

Employees are very nice and friendly, flexible hours with the option to work from home.

Cons

The company does not encourage career development and does not provide opportunities for employees to attend meetings. Managers just become managers - absolutely no training provided on how to manage people. A lot of internal meetings but most of them are policy-related and not very useful for helping customers. Company changes its vision and branding almost every single year, and there is no focused vision and mission.
