Pros

They are pretty much the only game in town, if you can consider that a Pro

Cons

They pretty much have cournered the market so to speak with contracts at various companies, and they know this full well. This gives them the ability to offer very low pay while making a ton of monay of theri contracted labour

Pros

Its a large, worldwide organization, so there is potential for moving upward in the ranks Original founder still involved after more than 50 years

Cons

-If you strive for mediocrity, this is the place to work. In my experience, far too many employees do little, or even nothing on the job; yet are not counseled, reprimanded, or terminated. - compensation levels are very low - management more concerned with the appearance of workplace than with the actual state of affairs - they provide a lot of training, but its almost worthless - they need to train people how to sell, how to price their services for a profit margin, and how to provide solid and respectable customer service. Instead it feels more like a cheerleading camp "lets go Volt!" - company cares more about the shareholders (founder and his family control 50% or so of the company), than about employees - customer service is pronounced a major concern, however I experience little mid or upper level management concern for their clients, except for Microsoft. - I would only recommend that you work there if you are a bad employee, that way my current company can rest easy knowing Volt will never be a competitive concern
