Pros

Good foundation to get into the industry Great people on a local level - Northern California

Cons

Pay, executive management direction, communication from the top is not clear nor is it transparent whether the company cares about it's employees, shareholders, or customers.

Pros

Volt will train inexperienced college grads and make them into recruiters. How good you want to be as a recruiter really depends on the office you are in and who trains you or how much you even care. Volt taught me a lot and gave me what I needed to continue my career elsewhere.

Cons

Unfortunately, they will train you into the mold that Volt wants, and then once you get better you'll realize how crappy they treat you. They industry pay is far below average and the percentage you get for each hire is extremely low. Most of the time you have no idea where the money goes. Also, the management team thinks that micromanagement is the one and only way to do things. So expect that.

Pros

Pay and benefits were decent.

Cons

Long hours, poor management from the CEO to the VPs and most department directors and managers. A culture of fear and pass the buck where no one takes accountability. Tons of nepotism, the COO toxic mother runs corporate payroll where she is referred to as "the queen", she was supposed to be in medical leave but still was calling the shots while on FMLA, not allowing for any changes to improve productivity. Some departments work like slaves while others go home at the same time and take every holiday off. Cant have a single conversation without someone telling you how long they have been working their despite the operation failing and hemorrhaging money. They spent money on rebranding instead of fixing the issues with their systems and integration. Current stock price is $0.73, this ship is sinking stay away, they will sell you a dream then, hire you knowing they are planning on moving your role to India and waste your time.
