Employees are treated poorly. Watched constantly by management on camera and ridiculed on a daily basis. Employees often denied breaks and are expected to work full shifts without a lunch break and without water, which is prohibited at all service desks. Management bullies employees using threats and uses psychological games to destroy the self esteem of young women who are starting in the work force.

Strict and long hours, no work/life balance, you could work up to 11 days with no day off; your schedule is never the same and watch your schedule a manager will change it behind your back and not let you know, you'll get accused of trying to take a day off when you were scheduled for it. Saturday morning meetings are a joke, romper room kindergarten atmosphere. Horrible management: they are VERY demeaning and will treat you with a lot of disrespect. They will watch you on camera upstairs in the security room. Strict dress code, women must wear hose. They are hard up for help, can't retain employees and everyone is miserable. Lots of favoritism so if you don't kiss up you're in trouble. Dress code is from the 60's women must wear skirts and hose. I'll never give my business to Von Maur-anywhere!!
