      Pros

      -Shifts go by fast due to constant work -Very easy to make friends -Wide age range of people -Supervisors are very nice and care about courtesy clerks

      Cons

      -Managers are extremely distant from everyone (thankfully my asst. manager is new to the company and is very nice to us because of this) -Constant pressure -Bizarre hours -Constantly feeling like a number, not an actual person

      Pros

      Very efficient and profitable company. Really innovative and offers a quality product with good marketing. Solid company, I'm sure if you are working above the store level the benefits far exceed the cost of top down pressure.

      Cons

      Hourly staff in the stores are regarded as a necessary nuisance. Company has repeatedly had problems with UFCW. Company is cutting hours to keep with investor demands and lower overhead, puts a huge strain on everyone in the store level. The culture in the company can be VERY political, if you decide to work here, be very careful not to upset someone or step on toes.

      Pros

      Nothng really good aside from great co-workers.

      Cons

      Micro-managed environment. Customer service is important to win customer loyalty, but the Superior Service program is a joke.It's demeaning, lowers moral, and no matter how much management pound it in you to act natural it's still fake. Mystery shopper sees it, you get dinged on a point, you best be prepared for retribution from management.
