Pros

There's nothing really good to say except that many in IT are very hard working folks but many are not and many are immoral and unethical specially at leadership level

Cons

Management specially in IT has very low bar on ethics and professionalism. Continuing harassment from various teams specially in architecture

Pros

Great company values, very community oriented, great training programs, if your location has a great manager it's a wonderful place to work

Cons

Gave my resignation notice and was fired the next day despite company policy requiring employees to give notice. Low pay, bonuses are low unless your branch is high volume with high loan production, sick time isn't accrued during a pay period when you use sick time, Some areas have quite a toxic work culture

Pros

Co-workers are wonderful to work with and we have lovely clients. The people I share my day with are the reason I have stuck around.

Cons

Even with the 5% increase last year and a marginal increase this year, ice cream scoopers are still making more money per hour with exceptional benefits. Bonuses are based on your branch’s success not the company as a whole. More is being asked of Personal bankers (going out into the field and being assigned company laptops to do business outside of the branch). Compensation should match the job requirements and definitely be more than what a high school student would make in the fast food industry. I have seen some turnover in my division and unfortunately it will continue.

Thank you for your comments and I certainly appreciate your perspective. We recognize the issue of pay compression and are working to address it by providing tools to make us more efficient. The long term answer is fewer better paid, highly trained and effective bankers
