Pros

Great team members, culture, and flexible work environment.

Cons

CEO Tom Butts deteriorate the culture and cause low morale. Brutal lay-offs without advance notice. VPs and C-Suite don't know how to keep talented employees.

Decent for Entry Levels, but don’t look to move up

Pros

Pretty laid back atmosphere. It was better before the merger though. Before the acquisition it was a group of team players who went the extra mile in hopes of doing the right thing and moving up. Good place to start a career. Learned a lot about the industry. Learned a lot about not being taken seriously.

Cons

Lots of carrot dangling to people who were there for a long time. Vague references to opportunities that never happen. Turn over is crazy. Wayyyyy below market value in nearly all roles you move into. You can nearly double your base salary by leaving after you gain a little experience. There is a some definite nepotism here, and it’s blatant. Rules will apply to some, but not to others. This company is owned by Bain now, and they care about one thing, making it scale to sell to recoup the investment and doing it fast.

Thanks for the feedback and your service. Our team members have everything to do with our success and we thank you for that. We know that as we continue to grow and capture a larger share of the market and as we transform our culture, it requires us to evolve. We appreciate you sharing your perspective and we will always continue to find ways to improve, so that we exceed the expectations of our team members and our clients. We’ll never stop working to make this the best place to work, for everyone. Thanks again for your feedback. Susan Staples, SVP of People Operations

Pros

Atmosphere is nice Listens (unless it is something that costs, like realigning positions and actually paying a persons worth not some random non-existent title.) Offer some (highly limited) training If you're in need of a job and want to have some solid people this is the place. If on the other hand you want fair pay, good benefits, wfh, etc.; I highly advise elsewhere.

Cons

Pay is horrible. They make up titles to fit you in the lowest rung they can find. (i.e. Specialist Data Service Engineer DevOps NoSQL) is an actual role. What does that even mean? Benefits are okay at best. They have bent the knee to MAGA and right wingers by insisting on a return to office. This is to note, they just moved offices to a HIGHLY inconvenient area and an already incredibly high traffic situation which they decided to compound upon. This not only hurt employees but also neighbors in the area by drastically increasing traffic for a company that thrived during COVID.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear the culture has been a positive part of your experience. We understand that a competitive total rewards package and workplace flexibility are important to every team member. We use salary analysis and industry benchmarking to help guide our compensation approach, and we believe in the value of in-person collaboration as we work together to simplify healthcare payments. If you’d like to discuss your experience further, we encourage you to connect with your leader or your Talent Business Partner.
