Pros

Innovative approach to autonomy Smart people Great food Great if you want to publish research papers

Cons

Below market rates No business model Leadership team have no leadership experience and it shows - leaders seem to spend all their time strategizing which leads to lots of change inconsistent messaging - no feedback then one day you're not there any more - top down decisions - busyness valued over outcomes - if you want something simplest path is to CEO who winds up making all decisions Way too focused on employer brand (it seemed like there was an almost monthly effort to get people to post on Glassdoor. More academic than engineering

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. At Wayve, we always welcome feedback that helps us improve. We take our commitment to a fair, inclusive and supportive workplace incredibly seriously and work hard to provide reasonable accommodations for all team members who need them, where it is possible for us to do so. I’m sorry you felt there was more we could do in your case but we must refute that we would breach an individual’s legal rights. Our VSOs work incredibly hard and are an integral part of our mission. We provide a number of forums for our people to raise issues including via their managers, a dedicated People team, regular team meetings, as well as a number of surveys, including specific ones for our VSO team which run throughout the year, and have even used insights from these to make changes to the shift patterns in the past to make these work better for work life balance. We are confident we have a strong and supportive offering in place for our VSO team but are always open to suggestions on how to improve this. We also wanted to take a moment to acknowledge your comment about the two shift leads. We are grateful for the dedication of our team members and know leadership and teamwork are critical to our success. Again, I’m sorry your experience with us wasn’t a more positive one and if you’d like to discuss this further please reach out to us directly at josh.gladwin@wayve.ai. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us.
