Pros

I work with amazingly smart people who are also a great social bunch working together to solve really hard things at the cutting edge of technology. Work life balance is important to me having young children and the company has been very understanding about this and is very flexible to cater to my needs. Having a chef cook healthy lunches for us every day is a bonus

Cons

As with any startup there's firefighting and many-hat wearing but nothing unexpected and this has eased as the company has grown and some of the hats are spread around

Pros

I like the team a lot - people are focused when it comes to the job and relaxed otherwise. They are also smart and helpful - whenever I need help I can ask for it and be confident I will find someone who knows how to do it. At Wayve we have flexible work hours, pay attention to work-life balance and have lunches served every day :)

Cons

I would like to see dealing with tension improved. Still not too bad though.

Pros

- Rare opportunity to work on a contrarian and moon-shot approach to self-driving cars. - Great culture (I cannot emphasise this enough)! There exists a strong, supportive and inclusive familial bond at Wayve that makes working here a sheer joy. Rather than succumbing to the pressure, everyone rises to the challenge, works together as a single cohesive unit and keeps pressing on. - Everyone in the team dreams big, is passionate, hungry to grow and very approachable. - Founders are humble, very receptive to advice and open to being challenged - You are given immense creative freedom and autonomy to innovate and do what you think is right for the company - Wayve also actively invests in and promotes mental health & wellbeing through yoga, healthy lunches and processed sugar free snacks. Fun fact: our chef hasn't repeated a meal since the past 6 months that I have been here.

Cons

As is the case with every company, we have our own set of problems. These being uncertainty and rapid change. However, these are the necessary evils when working on such grand ideas. Also, although very picturesque, I find Cambridge a bit boring and hence I commute to and from London as the office is very close to the train station.
