Pros

• Leadership has their eye on the pulse of the company, looking for opportunities to elevate team members where possible • Long standing employees who bring a wealth of knowledge about clients, the company’s values, and the industry • Salaries are on pair with market rates, if not higher. Lifestyle benefits cover almost anything you can think of. RRSP matching program. 4 weeks vacation from day one. • Team is flexible with deadlines if you communicate early and often • Teammates are just genuinely good people who want to do good work and have fun doing it • Fully remote with an office in Vancouver if you want to go in • Opportunities for in-person collaboration 1-3 times yearly

Cons

• Siloed client knowledge that can be hard to extract, but actively being worked on • Rapid growth leading to changes, but long term it should be positive change, time will tell! • Leadership has been at capacity with work and management for some time, leading to overworked leaders and overlooked individual contributors, but there is a strategy to change this

Pros

Great group of talented folks who are focused on high quality work. Benefits are good, lots of them.

Cons

Nothing beyond the normal. Occasionally you have to put in some extra time to get something done, but that's pretty normal in our industry.

Pros

Cool, fun niche market that is targeted towards entertainment. Remote first policy with office in Vancouver to work from and catch up with folks. Annual summit event was great. Contribute production oversight to a flagship YouTube channel and watch it grow. Fair compensation and benefits which are great.

Cons

The motion design role leans heavily toward production execution, so you'll be brought in at kickoff, after concepts and storyboards are already set, rather than during earlier ideation. This may not be an issue depending on how you want to grow in the role. If you're somebody wanting to push more motion design strategy, you might find the scope narrower than expected.
