Cons

Management gives little or no attention to new hires. they will tell you all good things about this small size company but once you get in, they expect you to know everything despite not having time to train new hires.

Thank you for providing us insight into your experience as a new hire. Over the past three years Weidenhammer has been continually developing their new team member on boarding experience. We have added a full day corporate orientation, mentoring program, goal and development setting session, as well as an online on boarding portal. Our clients expect us to be responsive with solutions, which does not always enable us to provide on the job training. Our team members are hired for their experience and skill with the expectation that they will have a very short learning curve.

Terrible culture

Some ok co-workers. Not much else.

Cons

- Management obviously does not care about employees - Management is degrading - Culture is one of pitting employees and departments against each other, and not in a healthy competition type of way - HR accidentally gave entire company's W2 information to a criminal hacker leaving everyone vulnerable to identity theft - Management makes mistakes that cost the company clients and money all the time - Management makes absolutely no effort to make it a decent place to work - Teams are not kept "in the loop" about any changes or decisions. There will be days that you do not know if the person you work with is even still an employee.

Each year Weidenhammer conducts a Team Member engagement survey, the results of which are used to determine the Leadership Team's action plan for the upcoming year to improve the Team Member experience. We are pleased to report that our engagement scores exceed IT Industry averages and have improved 5 points from 2015 to 2016, as a result of these action plans being implemented. The Leadership Team of Weidenhammer truly cares about continuous improvement and will never let the "best get in the way of better".
