Pros

- There are a few amazing people in the organization.

Cons

- CEO's involvement in the every day aspect of the business is slowing the growth of the organization with poor and/or cheap decisions. - Poor leadership at most levels resulting in the company going backwards. - Divisions within organization that are poorly managed and are a drain on the overall business. - Inappropriate behavior by senior management that results in questioning the integrity of the organization. - Poor financial decisions that have had significant impacts on the company and its employees. - Micromanagement environment (ex. daily time reporting for all employees). Managers questioning their employees regarding EVERY minute they spend during a workday/work week. - Management does not listen to their employees when discussing challenges, nor create an action plan to address. - VERY low employee compensation when compared to the job market. - Poor employee retention. - Slow to adapt to new technology internally and for their customers. - No career growth for employees, nor does the company seem to care, which makes it even worse. - In most cases, will not provide the necessary tools to be successful because they cost money. - Will not empower their people to make changes or evolve the organization. - Not flexible with work schedules (ex. managers that are checking to the minute when employees come into an office). - ZERO diversity in the company. It is shameful if you review all of the employees ethnicities. - Very few amenities offered to their employees when compared to other organizations.

Weidenhammer regrets this Team Member has such a negative experience, so contrary to what we usually hear. We pride ourselves on ethical behaviors and addressing any issues immediately. We have an extremely high retention rate, and although our turnover has climbed to 18.1%, it is still less than half of the tech industry turnover of 37.3%. Our average tenure is 12.3 years of service with many Team Members employed over 40 years in our 45-year-old organization. We are very competitive in pay and give annual merit increases and market adjustments where warranted. Our hybrid or remote work schedule was highly rated by our Team Members, contributing to our 89% engagement score. I would certainly be willing to take this conversation offline to learn more about the concerns, so we can resolve any management behaviors that are not positive, and negatively impact the culture of which we are so proud.

Pros

- Management listens and is open to reinventing the company. - The company is also well diversified in service offerings which allows it to better weather economic turbulence. - Takes a consultative approach to serving clients. - High Net Promoter score, most clients love working with the company.

Cons

- Not really a CON - but rather a known aspect of the tech space. The industries that the company participates in requires constant reeducation and pivoting. You need to stay on your toes and constantly learn to be able to best serve clients.

Pros

Working here was a real joy. The leadership team of the eCommerce Agency division values listens to your input. Every day I signed in for work (I was remote) was a joy. * Good benefits * Good work-life balance * Good co-workers * Good vision for expansion

Cons

Not a lot of cons. It is a large organization as a whole and the eCommerce division is a small portion of a bigger machine. This means your voice will feel like it has little impact outside eCommerce. Working remotely there are some struggles to stay inside the company culture as a whole. The IT department does not really understand MacBooks and Magento development, so you end up with a Mac Book that they set up like a PC and it causes a few issues. Other than that it is a great place to work, and those are minor issues.
