Pros

Fairly flexible in terms of hours and where you work.

Cons

I think a good starting point is to mention the desperate attempt to claw back any kind of positive reputation in the retalition review left below, clearly by someone in the senior leadership team. There is a recent negative review outing the snr leaders as being incompetent and then a new review quickly appears from said snr leaders retaliating to the review in a sad attempt to bump down the real reviews....... Come on Wejo, not a good look. In the past year, anyone who was worth working for and had any idea about running a successful business with a good culture has left. New hires, specifically in HR have brought in a toxic culture of blame, hierarchy, lack of transparency, corruption amongst others. In my humble opinion of course. I would not recommend joining Wejo to anyone who wants stability and career progression. The CFO has been quoted in an article by Prolific North recently stating hiring freezes and other cost reduction exercises 'We will continue to pursue additional cost reduction initiatives, which will help us get to profitability sooner.” Does this include mass redundancies? It is not unusual for tech start ups to not turn a profit, however it is almost a cliché that hyper growth companies fail. They are unable to support the hyper growth with the correct infrastructure and the necessary support to employees, which results in a huge turnover in staff and redundancies. In my opinion Wejo is a sinking ship, you only have to look at their share price, past profits and turnover to conclude this is not a company you would want to work for.

Pros

- Great atmosphere - Great employees - Great flexible working - Fast pace keeps you engaged - Helpful management and listens down up sometimes - US work ethic is lesson for UK employees

Cons

- Someone said about the CEO quoting "Shut up or Leave" - 100% agree with it, was there to witness the awkwardness. - Understandbly clueless management, its a new venture, new space not many will have clue anyway...however, this doesn't mean people should be escape goat-ed - Due to leavers people are scared of their jobs - Be prepared to do late nighters every so often as half of the people are in US - CEO barely shows his face except for the monthly meetings

Nothing but stress and worry

Pros

Could be great. Consistent grown in revenue and sales

Cons

Top management are a disgrace. Waste money and hold the staff in contempt. The latest saga is a worry about actually getting paid this month- a month after large scale redundancy. Crazy to think those made redundant will be in a better position than those who survived but won't be paid in full or on time. Lack of communication to allay any stress/fear is both disgusting but unsurprising given the CEO.
