Pros

Lots to learn and interesting tech. Some great managers and lots of good people to work with (although many are leaving). Progression is encouraged as long as you’re proactive about it.

Cons

Company especially exec don't seem to have enough appreciation of tech considering its at the heart of what they do. The morale is deteriorating due to the amount of people leaving and employees are not appreciated enough. Although there are some good managers, a lot of them are too busy managing upwards that they don't have enough time for their direct reports/help manage workload. With people leaving, people are having to fill in the cracks which is very unsustainable. They say work life balance is encouraged but they work their employees very hard, often taken advantage too in terms of workload given.

Pros

Exciting projects but aside from that not a great place to work.

Cons

So fast paced that managers do not have time to support their team. Massive lack of culture due to this reason. Benefits are very poor and there is no progression.

Pros

Basically do nothing all day

Cons

Managers don’t care and don’t know what they’re doing, you’re lucky if they were in the room at all. The business isn’t making money in any of its aspects. Whole department made redundant because they decided that’s not the route they want to go down anymore despite the numerous lies that our jobs were safe and they’d always need a call centre. The other adept team is pointless, way too many people sat around trying to find companies to sell data to, except they hardly do and probably won’t. Too much favouritism and bitchiness between team leaders. Little benefits or understanding of personal problems, if you can’t come in due to something happening in your personal life then you’ll quickly be fired. Management has little direction. Consistent role and shift changes which left staff with no moral and confusion. Fired a ridiculous amount of people in the last few weeks, potentially a last ditch attempt to save money. As we were even told by a team leader that some people were fired for no reason. Not sure how the company expected us to make money when they had us dialling data that was sometimes 8 years old, where information was out of date, lots of people had died and our website was the most ridiculous website ever and didn’t even have our number on it, even when we got a transfer, it would always go through to another broker or a ridiculously high priced insurer which just angered customers and ruined our own customer base - no wonder people would presume it was a scam!
