      Great health insurance Easy to accrue PTO

      Cons

      The department I worked in was toxic. Communication was terrible. Lots of micromanagement happened. The atmosphere was very cut-throat as employees would back-stab each other to get ahead. There was no work-life balance. Due to the insane amount of meetings, employees ended up working evenings and weekends to try to catch up. A lot has changed in the last two years. The WellSpan I joined was focused on the community and how it could help. The WellSpan I left is more interested in becoming a large, generic organization where employees are treated like a cog in the wheel.

      Pay was okay. Patients were usually nice. Clean environment.

      Cons

      Drama drama drama. Make sure to look behind your back because anyone will mock you or make you feel uncomfortable. Oh and the company doesn’t care about its employees. First off not listening to employees when complaints/requests are made. Also, management looks down on you. They don’t think enough is enough, you have to slave longer for no reason. It’s not that high volume of a place. Lastly, there is no employee recognition at all. Again, they don’t make you feel like you matter plain and simple.

      HR doesn’t have any idea what they’re doing. Any request takes 1+ weeks to process.
