Pros
Good initial training, and you get performance feedback for your first couple months. Most of the office staff was nice and seemed easy to work with. I assisted with training new sales managers.
Cons
I worked in the sales department for 14 months. I thought I was in good standing, working as a team with everyone in sales and customer service. I asked how to handle customer situations when I needed assistance. A few months prior to getting fired, my managers had meetings with HR in one of their offices, and I was not invited. I saw their meetings though an office window. Then the day it happened, the manager whose office I shared, did not even come to the HR office for my termination. How foolish. I believe my replacement was a family member of one of my managers. Wellborn has favorites, and it seems like if you are not one of their favorites, you are dropped - without warning. If management and HR like you, you can have a career exceeding 20-30 years, but if they don't, you barely last one year. Even word around the small town about Wellborn is negative. Good luck, because if you lose a job with them, you most likely have to drive an additional 40 miles for a good career.
