Pros

Long-standing financial company with a strong brand and public recognition. One of the few financial services firms that survived the financial crisis of 2008.

Cons

Information is not readily shared. Collaboration among various groups within the same line of business doesn't exist. Management doesn't appear to have the mentoring ability required to build up and advance personnel. Status quo is accepted as the standard norm with no room for creativity with work flows, processes and strategic methodologies.

Pros

1. Anyone can work here, degree or no degree. 2. Advancement ability in the retail side is great. The typical career path is from Teller to Lead Teller to Service(Operations)Manager. Or on the sales side, Banker to Licenced Banker, or Manager, to District Manager. 3. The benefits and 401k Match are wonderful. Lots of PTO as well. 4. Seniority when requesting time off.

Cons

1. As of 2012 they will be changing the healthcare benefits. Changes do not look appetizing.

Pros

Generous paid time off; volunteering is encouraged; diverse networking opportunities from company-sponsored networking groups; 401k profit sharing; some departments and job roles allow for flexible shifts and ability to work remotely sometimes.

Cons

Leadership without authority is a bizz word and line associates are rated on it. The problem is management does not help associates develop this skill, or are even able to explain what it means or to give examples. This means many employees in some divisions are rated as poor performing in this area, but are not given the support or tools to develop.
